Logo Marquee Block

The Logo Marquee block creates a side-scrolling, continuously looping gallery of logos. When used thoughtfully, a marquee offers a dynamic alternative to a static logo grid — drawing subtle attention while reinforcing confidence in your organization.

Why use the logo marquee block

Logo marquees are commonly used to convey trust, credibility, and scale. By displaying recognizable clients, partners, media outlets, certifications, or awards, they quickly signal legitimacy without taking up much space.

Use the Logo Marquee block when you want to:

  • Showcase client or partner logos
  • Highlight media features or press mentions
  • Display certifications, affiliations, or awards
  • Reinforce social proof near key conversion points

A logo marquee works especially well near the top of a page or just before calls to action, where building trust is important.

Because the content moves automatically, it should be used intentionally and not overloaded with too many logos.

How to use the block

Start by adding the Logo Marquee block to the page. Learn how to add blocks.

Once the block is added, editors typically:

  • Upload or select multiple logo images
  • Arrange the order of logos
  • Adjust scrolling speed
  • Adjust block width
  • Modify spacing to fit the layout

When the block is selected in the editor, it displays an editable gallery view.
When the block is not selected, the editor displays a representation of the front-end view without the scrolling animation. Always review the block on the front end to confirm spacing, speed, and overall balance.

Adding and managing logos

Block toolbar

When the Logo Marquee block is selected, the block toolbar includes:

Block width: Control how wide the marquee appears within the layout

Block settings

Block settings appear in the right sidebar while the Logo Marquee block is selected.

Marquee Speed

Controls how quickly the logos scroll. The value is entered in milliseconds. A recommended range is between 50ms and 200ms.

Smaller values result in slower, more subtle movement. Larger values increase the scrolling speed. Choose a speed that feels noticeable but not distracting.

Block styles

In the block settings sidebar under the Styles tab:

Padding and margin

Adjust spacing around the block to improve layout flow. Control top, bottom, left, and right values independently.

Tips for editors

Use high-quality, consistent logos

Try to use logos with similar proportions and visual weight. Avoid mixing very tall and very wide logos in the same marquee. Keep logo treatments consistent — for example, all dark, all light, or all full color.

Keep the number manageable

Too many logos can feel cluttered. Focus on the most recognizable or relevant brands.

Mind the motion

Choose a speed that feels subtle. If it moves too quickly, it can feel distracting. If too slow, it may not feel intentional.

Place strategically

Logo marquees are most effective near the top of a page or before key calls to action, where reinforcing trust matters most.
